Title:
A random selection of images
Description:
I am a wedding photographer/photo-journalist whose photographic career started over 20 years ago often photographing conflicts around the world for publications like The Sunday Times, The Independent, Life Magazine, National Geographic, Stern and Geo.

In recent years, after getting married myself, I have photographed church, registry, synagogue and temple weddings in the UK, sometimes on assignment for Condé Nast's 'Brides Magazine'.

The skills I learnt photographing in war zones are well suited for photographing weddings: the need to move quickly to capture a moment; the ability to work hard without being seen; and the skill of using images alone to tell a story and create a lasting memory. Helping you remember the whole day, your special day!

Rather than stiff formal posed photographs of family and friends, my style of photography is reportage based story-telling, capturing the essence of the day; creating pictures that capture the precious moments, the joyous mood and documenting the whole day.

I photograph any type of wedding whether within or outside of the UK, entirely according to your wishes and requirements. My single aim is to make you, the bride and groom, pleased with the end results!
Captions:
  1. "My best photographs are taken when people trust me so much they don’t realise I’m there."
  2. "Through working quietly in the background, it is my job to capture the joyous day, not disturb it!"
  3. "My photographs aim to tell the whole unique story of the special day, not just a few chosen moments."
  4. "It is often those small details that are so easily forgotten, so I try to retain them in my photographs."
  5. "Only when the wedding day ends, do I put down my cameras."
  6. "By always 'hunting' for them, I am able to catch those spontaneous, but fleeting moments of joy."
  7. "Most importantly, the day belongs to the bride and groom, and their wishes - not the photographer!"
